Who we are
Tapjeta provides digital business cards. This policy explains what we store when you create an account, publish a card, or share contact details with someone.
Data we store
Account data (email address and sign-in identity), the content you add to your card (name, role, company, contact details, links, uploaded images), and contact details submitted to you by visitors who choose to share them. We also store basic card activity counts, such as profile views and link taps, so you can see how your card performs.
Why we store it
To operate your account, render your public profile, generate QR codes, vCards and wallet passes, and to show you your own card statistics. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Public profiles
Anything you publish on your card is public by design: anyone with the link or QR code can see it. Only fields you enable are shown. You can unpublish or edit your card at any time.
Contact exchange
When a visitor sends you their details, they do so voluntarily and are told the details go to you. Those records are visible only to you, and you can delete them.
Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure to host the application, database, authentication and file storage. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are generated only when you request them, and only include the fields shown on the pass.
Your rights
You can access, export and permanently delete your data from inside the app under Settings → Privacy & data. Deleting your account removes your cards, links, contacts, activity records and uploaded media.
